A botulinum injection (such as Botox or Dysport) can only be performed by a doctor. Beauty injections (including lip fillers) use the body’s own hyaluronic acid and can also be performed by a nurse.

Types of fillers and beauty injections:

  • Botox injections or botulinum injections remove wrinkles with botulinum toxin and correct facial features
  • Filler injections or fillers correct facial features (including lips) and fill out wrinkles
  • Biorevitalisation deeply moisturises the skin with hyaluronic acid
  • Plasmalifting or plasma injections naturally rejuvenate, using the patient’s own blood plasma
  • Mesotherapy deeply moisturises the skin with vitamins, amino acids, minerals and hyaluronic acid

Additional treatments include injections against excessive sweating, microneedling collagen therapy, lipolysis and meso-threads.

Meso threads

Look for appointment times

Meso threads are surgical sutures made of sterile, skin-tissue-compatible polymer material (PDO, also known as polydioxanone) that are inserted into subcutaneous tissue using a specialised fine needle. Meso threads can be used to tighten the skin on all parts of the body and face. The threads dissolve naturally and are absorbed into the dermis layer generally within three to six months, depending on thread type and thickness. Meso threads create a so-called supportive frame under the skin, around which new collagen will begin to grow, which in turn tightens the skin. The skin’s texture improves, it becomes more elastic and wrinkles and loose skin are reduced.

We recommend the meso thread procedure in order to:

  • improve skin quality and elasticity;
  • stimulate collagen production;
  • reduce wrinkles around the eye, tightening the skin;
  • reduce swelling around the eyes;
  • reduce wrinkles in the mouth and lip regions;
  • reduce wrinkles and sagging in the areas near the mouth and nose (nasolabial folds);
  • accentuate the chin and jawline; and
  • stop subsequent skin sagging.

The effects of the meso thread procedure will be visible after two or three weeks and the results will continue to improve after a couple of months. Results are individual and they last approximately one year. Thread absorption varies from region to region.

In order to achieve an even better result, you can combine the meso threads procedure with other rejuvenating methods, such as filler injections, botox injections, mesotherapy as well as chemical peels. During the consultation (before the procedure), our aesthetic medicine nurse will evaluate your eligibility for meso threads, the potential results, the type and number of threads as well as the possibility of combining procedures.

Regarding the suitability of the procedure, we recommend consulting with a specialist. If it is not possible to perform the booked procedure due to the client’s reasons, the client will be responsible for the consultation fee.
