Health check package for men up to 40
  • Blood test (full blood count, cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, glycohaemoglobin, ALT or alanine aminotransferase, GGT, vitamin D, testosterone)
    • Full blood count – gives an overview of the oxygen transport capacity of the blood and evaluates the body’s defensive potential against pathogens.
      • It helps detect the presence of several diseases, e.g. anaemia, infectious diseases, inflammations, bleeding disorders, hematopoietic diseases.
      • Enables indirect assessment of fluid balance in the body
    • Cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and LDL cholesterol
      • Cholesterol is an important component of cell membranes and a necessary substance for the synthesis of steroid hormones and bile acids.
      • Helps assess the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases
    • Triglycerides
      • Together with cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and LDL cholesterol, enables the assessment of lipid metabolism
      • Helps explain the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases; an elevated level is an important risk factor
    • Glycohaemoglobin
      • Helps to assess the increased risk for developing diabetes
      • Suitable for monitoring the course of diabetes
      • Enables assessment of carbohydrate metabolism
    • ALT (Alanine Aminotransferase) – enables assessment of the condition of the liver cells
    • GGT – detects possible liver diseases and monitors treatment
    • Vitamin D
      • Necessary for calcium absorption and thus important for strong bones and teeth
      • Important for muscle function and coordination
      • Essential for the functioning of the immune system
    • Testosterone – adequate levels of the male hormone testosterone are important for normal sexual function, sperm production and muscle tone.
  • Blood pressure measurement – an increase in blood pressure affects the cardiovascular system the most, therefore it is important to check your blood pressure regularly even if there are no complaints. Important risk factors for developing high blood pressure are neglecting your work and rest regime as well as unhealthy eating habits. The risk of the disease increases with smoking, excess consumption of alcohol and salt, lack of physical activity and stress. Heredity and age are also important. The risk of developing high blood pressure increases with age.
  • Body mass index (BMI) measurement, including assessment of obesity – the accumulation of adipose tissue viscerally, i.e. inside the abdomen, is an indicator of disease risk because it is associated with the development and worsening of several diseases.

    • Uric acid – high levels of uric acid are a risk factor for kidney damage and heart disease. The test makes it possible to assess a metabolic disorder of uric acid. For example, with high levels, a joint disease called gout may develop.
    • AST (Aspartate Aminotransferase) – to assess possible liver damage.
    • PSA (prostate-specific antigen) – to assess the risk of prostate cancer. Contributes to the diagnosis of prostate inflammation and benign enlargement.
