Breast Health Cabinet
See available time slotsPatients of all ages who have concerns or questions regarding breast health are welcome to visit the breast health cabinet. The midwife working in the breast health cabinet counselspatients, performs a breast examination and, if necessary, refers the patient to a breast ultrasound or mammography.
Turn to the breast health cabinet:
- for preventive purposes (regular check-up);
- with the goal of gaining more knowledge and tips on how to take care of your breasts on your own and the danger signs to notice;
- if you have any concerns regarding your breasts;
- if you feel changes in your breasts (for example, pain in the breast(s), a lump in the breast, a change in the shape of the breast or nipple).
Services the midwife offers during the visit, according to every patient’s individual needs:
- mapping out of health-related history
- clinical examination of the breasts
- counselling of the patient, including, for example, counselling on lifestyle
- if necessary, referral to additional examinations (including radiological examinations) or to a specialist appointment
- follow-up consultation via phone or video call to discuss test/examination results with the patient
