General and family medicine

A family doctor or general practitioner is the first point of contact for anyone with any kind of health problem. A family doctor or general practitioner helps treat and prevent diseases, performs minor surgical procedures, refers patients for tests and examinations, provides consultations on vaccinations and treats minor traumas and wounds.

Main reasons and problems for consulting a family doctor: acute inflammatory diseases, bone and joint diseases, monitoring of chronic illness treatment, prescription renewal or issuing health certificates.

A referral is not needed to consult a general practitioner or family doctor. Confido family doctors do not provide services within the contract of the Health Insurance Fund, i.e. our family doctors do not have a registry.
