Chemical peeling

Chemical peeling, or acid peeling, is a skin-rejuvenating cosmetic procedure that aims to alleviate skin problems and prevent or reduce signs of ageing. A chemical peel affects the skin in two ways: first, it exfoliates dead cells from the surface of the skin, revealing a fresher and more youthful complexion, then it stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin, resulting in a gradual tightening of the skin. This makes acid peel one of the safest and most effective means of fighting acne.

We recommend chemical peeling treatment if you have:

  • Acne
  • Acne scars
  • Wrinkles, loose connective tissues
  • Oily skin
  • Milia
  • Rosacea or couperose
  • An uneven, dull complexion
  • Pigmentation
  • Dry and sensitive skin
  • Enlarged pores

As a result of chemical peeling:

  • Dead cells are removed from the surface of the skin; skin renewal is accelerated
  • A fresher, smoother and more youthful complexion is achieved
  • Sebum secretion is regulated; the formation of comedones and pimples is reduced
  • Pores become smaller
  • The synthesis of hyaluronic acid in the skin is intensified
  • Inflammatory processes are alleviated
  • The moisture content of the skin improves; wrinkles caused by superficial dryness are reduced
  • Collagen synthesis is accelerated; the skin is more tightened, trim and elastic
  • Pigment spots are reduced and skin tone is evened out
  • The absorption of skin care products and their effect is improved
  • Scars and stretch marks are smoothed out

Depending on the depth of the effect, chemical peels are divided into superficial, medium and deep; as a result, the preparations used in the treatment also differ. Facial acid peels offered by Confido are carried out with world-renowned cosmetics lines, such as Mesoestetic and Laboratoires Renophase Paris.

Mesoestetic is committed to developing and marketing top quality products with scientifically proven results. The brand’s progress is linked to ongoing research and collaboration with hospitals, universities and experienced professionals in the sector, since the company works closely with them to research and develop new treatments. Mesoestetic’s acid line Mesopeel is the most advanced line of chemical peels. The series uses 23 acid variations, which are selected during the treatment based on the client’s skin needs. Mesopeel chemical peels are quick and effective. The high-quality acids in the range are safe and easy to control, designed to achieve the best care result for the prevention of hyperpigmentation, signs of ageing and the care of acne, rosacea, couperose, stretch marks and other aesthetic problems.

In Laboratoires Renophase Paris treatments, skin problems are mainly affected by 70% glycolic acid, genistein, hyaluronic acid precursor, polypeptides, salicylic acid and amino acid. Each client is approached personally; an active substance is chosen depending on their skin needs. Thanks to various active substances, it is possible to care for various skin problems, such as dry skin, couperose, rosacea, problem skin, acne and wrinkles.
