Terje Kruus graduated from Tallinn Medical School with a degree in nursing in 1988. She gained her first work experience as a nurse in the Cardiovascular Surgery Department at Tallinn Emergency Hospital (today North Estonia Medical Centre). Her interest in the world of beauty led her to the Estonian First Private Cosmetic School, where she acquired the profession of a cosmetician in 1998. Exciting and long-term work as a cosmetician also increased her interest in aesthetic medicine. When she started working at the Dermamed Aesthetic Medicine Clinic in 2013, she had the opportunity to work part-time at the Helsinki Ihoakatemia Clinic. She completed additional training for nurses in 2015 at Tallinn Health Care College.
