A botulinum injection (such as Botox or Dysport) can only be performed by a doctor. Beauty injections (including lip fillers) use the body’s own hyaluronic acid and can also be performed by a nurse.

Types of fillers and beauty injections:

  • Botox injections or botulinum injections remove wrinkles with botulinum toxin and correct facial features
  • Filler injections or fillers correct facial features (including lips) and fill out wrinkles
  • Biorevitalisation deeply moisturises the skin with hyaluronic acid
  • Plasmalifting or plasma injections naturally rejuvenate, using the patient’s own blood plasma
  • Mesotherapy deeply moisturises the skin with vitamins, amino acids, minerals and hyaluronic acid

Additional treatments include injections against excessive sweating, microneedling collagen therapy, lipolysis and meso-threads.

Redermalisation

Look for appointment times

Redermalisation is an innovative injection procedure for improving skin quality, slowing the signs of ageing and making the skin tone even. Redermalisation helps to reduce pigmentation and inflammation in the superficial layers of the skin as well as increase the skin’s moisture levels.

The Xela Rederm preparations used in redermalisation contain varying concentrations of succinic and hyaluronic acid, which are substances naturally found in our bodies. Hyaluronic acid moisturises and refreshes the skin, smooths fine wrinkles and gives the skin a healthy, youthful and radiant appearance.

Succinic acid is necessary for cells to produce energy and carry out metabolic processes and stimulates the synthesis of collagen and elastin. Succinic acid reduces puffiness and contributes to lymphatic circulation and microcirculation, alleviating the appearance of dark circles under the eyes.

Redermalisation can also be combined with chemical peels, laser treatments and photorejuvenation procedures. For best results, we recommend doing a course of treatments; the number of treatments is individual.

We recommend that you consult an aesthetic medicine nurse on the suitability of the procedure.

Regarding the suitability of the procedure, we recommend consulting with a specialist. If it is not possible to perform the booked procedure due to the client’s reasons, the client will be responsible for the consultation fee.

Contraindications for redermalisation
  • Oncological diseases, keloid scars, active inflammations, including herpes.
  • The procedure is not performed during antibiotic treatment.
  • The procedure is not performed during pregnancy and breastfeeding; at least one month must have passed since the end of breastfeeding.
How to prepare for the procedure
  • There must be a gap of at least two weeks after vaccination.
  • Alcohol should not be consumed for at least one day before the procedure.
  • If you are taking medications, please inform us of them before coming for the procedure. We recommend that you do not take blood-thinning medications for at least one week before the procedure (including aspirin, Hjertemagnyl). In addition, we recommend that you do not take supplements containing fish oil and vitamin E for the entire week prior to the injection.
  • You should eat a small meal prior to the injection procedure so that you can avoid dizziness and faintness as a result of low blood sugar or psychological fear.
What to consider after the procedure
  • There may be some redness, papules, slight bruising, sensitive skin, numbness or swelling after the injection procedure. Papules can remain on the skin for up to three days. You can use an ice pack on the injection site, if necessary. In order to alleviate bruises, use a gel that contains arnica or take a painkiller.
  • Makeup products should not be used for at least 12 hours after the injection procedure.
  • Do not touch the injected area for a few hours to avoid infection.
  • Avoid massages and other procedures in the injection area for at least two weeks.
  • Alcohol should not be consumed for at least one day after the procedure.
  • Do not perform any intense exercise for at least one week after the injection, as it is conducive to the generation of new haematomas and swelling.
  • Saunas and hot baths should be avoided for at least two weeks.
  • Sunbathing should be avoided for at least two weeks.
  • There must be a gap of at least two weeks after vaccination.
How quickly are the results visible?

The tightening effect is usually visible after two or three days; within a week the skin’s hydration is restored. Skin quality is usually improved within 21-28 days.

Redermalisation can also be combined with chemical peels, laser treatments and photorejuvenation procedures. For best results, we recommend doing a course of treatments; the number of treatments is individual.

We recommend that you consult an aesthetic medicine nurse on the suitability of the procedure.
