How does laser tattoo removal work?

The laser beam at our clinic is applied only to the specific dye without affecting and damaging the skin. The laser acts specifically on the skin area with tattoo, destroying coloured pigment only without leaving burns and scars. The laser beam destroys only the tattoo dye and the resultant microscopic particles of the dye are excreted from the body for several weeks after the procedure. As a result, the tattoo fades, eventually disappearing completely after the course of procedures.

Indications for laser tattoo removal

If you are unhappy with the work of the tattoo artist or the colour tint or shape of your tattoo has changed after a long period of time, this procedure will allow the tattoo to fade for the application of a new one or you can totally remove the annoying tattoo. The recommended course ranges from two to nine procedures, depending on the metabolic rate, age, skin area and other individual characteristics of your body. If the tattoo was made improperly, there are scars or you underwent an unsuccessful tattoo removal at another clinic, more than nine procedures may be required to remove the tattoo completely. However, many tattoos are removed in just a few procedures
