The nurse is able to give initial health advice, assess the patient’s health and analyze health risks. Blood and urine tests and measurements of important health indicators (blood pressure, heart rate, ECG, etc.) can be performed at the nurse’s appointment. If necessary, the nurse also performs simpler treatment procedures (drug administration, wound care). If there is a need for a doctor’s consultation at the nurse’s appointment, the nurse will refer the patient to a doctor’s appointment.
