Vaccination of the population is required to reduce the spread and morbidity of COVID-19. The higher the proportion of people vaccinated, the lower the prevalence of the disease. Vaccination does not mean returning to a normal life immediately; however, it does help most people avoid suffering from symptomatic and severe COVID-19.
