Ticks in Estonia spread two dangerous diseases: tick-borne encephalitis and Lyme disease. While Lyme disease can be successfully treated with antibiotics, there is no cure for encephalitis – it is a very serious disease. Vaccination against tick-borne encephalitis helps prevent the disease.
It is recommended to start the course of injections against tick-borne encephalitis in April so that immunity can develop for the period in which the ticks are active.
We will make notes on all vaccinations performed with us in your vaccination passport. If necessary, we will issue a new passport.
Vaccination against tick-borne encephalitis is available for adults and children starting from the age of one any time of the year.
