Cognitive-behavioural therapy
See available time slotsCognitive-behavioural therapy is based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings and behaviour are all interlinked and that by altering one of those elements, we can also cause changes in others. Cognitive-behavioural therapy methods include psychotherapy techniques that have been most scientifically proven to be effective, even with common mental disorders such as depression and anxiety.
Cognitive-behavioural therapy is result-oriented and relatively brief. It focuses on the factors that help sustain the issue and teaches therapy techniques and new skills that patients can use between sessions. Thanks to this, people undergoing cognitive-behavioural therapy experience relapse far less frequently than with other forms of therapy.
