I work with young people and adults by helping them understand the nature of their mental health issues, learn new behavioural patterns and improve their ability to deal with their day-to-day lives. I have started training for cognitive behavioural therapy and mostly use the principles of this method in my work. I have previously worked with young people and adults with special needs as well as rehabilitated people with brain damage. Thank to these experiences, I try to see the individuality of each person; I stay open-minded about their differences and know that the most important factor in therapy is trust and a good relationship with the client.
