Dr Tuuli Lääne graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tartu (2010) and completed a residency in gastroenterology (2015). She then worked as a consulting gastroenterologist in central hospitals in Finland and developed the treatment process for intestinal patients. She regularly attends international conferences and seminars to keep up to date with new developments. She is a member of both Estonian and Finnish professional gastroenterology societies. As a gastroenterologist, Tuuli prioritises patient wellbeing and a holistic approach to patient health. In particular, she is interested in endoscopy as a diagnostic and therapeutic procedure, inflammatory bowel diseases, diagnosis of gastrointestinal tumours, differential diagnosis of anaemia, liver diseases and everything related to liver transplantation.
