Dr Marko Ölluk has graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu (1993), followed by studies to become a general practitioner (2012), and is currently enrolled in the family medicine residency programme at the University of Tartu. Marko is a member of the Estonian and Tallinn Associations of General Practitioners and of the Estonian Medical Association. Dr Ölluk considers it essential that high-quality medical aid is available in primary care where the patient undergoes initial tests and the reasons for their ailments are explained. A doctor’s ability to give a patient an adequate and comprehensible assessment of their health and the course of any further treatment is no less important.
