Dr Ploompuu graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tartu with a degree in medicine (2019) and is currently completing a residency in family medicine. Dr Ploompuu is a member of the Estonian Society of Family Doctors and the Society of Young Family Doctors, having been a board member of the latter (2020/21).
