Dr Kati Otsa has graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu (1986) and has completed her residency in rheumatology (1988). The doctor regularly takes part in international congresses and seminars of rheumatology. The doctor has been an author and co-author to over 25 scientific articles, focusing on research and epidemiology of rheumatological diseases, neuroendocrine immunology, and other related fields. Doctor takes a special interest in systemic lupus erythematosus in Estonia. In her work, Dr Kati Otsa is satisfied with the recent developments in rheumatology as they have significantly improved treatment outcomes.
