An ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist, i.e. otorhinolaryngologist, who diagnoses and treats ear, nose and throat diseases. We recommend making an appointment with an ENT specialist if you have any complaints or you suspect an acute or chronic ear, nose or throat condition, if you have problems with breathing through the nose or experience frequent nose bleeds, as well as for an expert opinion on the removal of tonsils or adenoids, or in case of breathing disturbances during sleep. During the appointment, the ENT specialist will carry out an ear, nose and throat examination, assess complaints and decide whether further tests are necessary. If necessary, the otorhinolaryngologist will refer you for an audiometry test to measure your hearing. The most common reasons for seeing our ENT specialist include: respiratory inflammation, enlarged tonsils, inflammation of the tonsils, pharyngitis, allergic rhinitis, ear infection, frequent nosebleeds, snoring, a foreign body in the airways or the ear.
