Children’s dental treatment is a very important area of oral health, focused on preventing dental problems from an early age.
The appointment includes treating caries or removing baby teeth. If necessary, the dentist will also clean the teeth with toothpaste and provide recommendations for better oral hygiene at home.
Baby teeth need treatment from an early age, as their health has a major impact on the development of permanent teeth.
Before the appointment, it is important that parents explain why it is necessary to go to the dentist.
Dentists recommend getting check-ups for young children at least twice a year – even in the absence of toothaches. Preventive treatment is a very important aspect of oral health.
Consultations and caries treatment services are also performed by trainee dentists for both children and adults in Tartu Confido Dental clinic. A trainee dentist is a 5th and final year student who has acquired the necessary clinical work experience to provide patients with good quality dental care. Trainee dentist is supervised every day by a dentist in the clinic.

- Upper respiratory infections (e.g. influenza, COVID-19 virus)
- Oral herpes
All children up to the age of 19 are welcome to the appointment.
In the case of a runny nose or cough, the appointment may be unsuccessful. Please come to the appointment only if your child is healthy.
