Plasma therapy for hair

Look for appointment times

Aesthetic nurses perform injection procedures under the supervision of a doctor.

Plasma therapy helps to promote hair growth, strengthen existing hair and reduce hair loss. The plasma used for the procedure is prepared from the client’s own blood by centrifugation. The plasma containing growth factors is then injected back into the patient’s scalp, which stimulates hair growth and improves the condition of the scalp. Since the injected material does not contain additives or foreign material, it can be considered the most natural method of stopping hair thinning in women and men.

How does plasma therapy work?

The plasmalifting methodology is based on the effect of growth factors in platelets. To perform the procedure, blood is taken from the client (approximately 15-30 ml), platelet-rich plasma is separated from the blood using a centrifuge. The plasma is then injected into the scalp using an injection technique. During the procedure, stem cells and other hair follicle cells are stimulated, which promote healing and accelerate tissue regeneration. Plasma therapy helps to promote hair growth, strengthen existing hair and reduce hair loss.

To stimulate even faster, more intense and longer-lasting hair growth, especially in cases of androgenetic alopecia or diffuse hair loss, plasma injection can be combined with microneedling. Microneedling activates blood supply to the scalp and skin renewal, while the plasma, rich in growth factors, strengthens hair follicles and promotes new hair growth.

For the best results, it is usually recommended to do a course of at least 3 times 2-4 weeks apart. We perform plasma therapy using both PRP and iPRF methods. Consulting a specialist regarding the suitability of the procedure is recommended.

What is the difference between PRP and iPRF, and when should each be preferred?

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and iPRF (Injectable Platelet-Rich Fibrin) are both biological rejuvenation methods that use the patient’s own blood to stimulate skin regeneration and hair growth.

PRP contains platelets that release growth factors, helping to rejuvenate the skin. It also stimulates hair growth by activating hair follicles and improving microcirculation in the scalp. It is suitable for those seeking fast results and a revitalizing effect — for example, to enhance skin glow and texture or to promote hair growth.

iPRF is an advanced version of PRP. In addition to platelets, it also contains white blood cells and natural fibrin. It works more deeply and for a longer duration, giving the skin a gentle volumizing effect. This makes it especially suitable for areas with sagging or volume loss. In hair treatments, iPRF is increasingly used as it extends the active growth phase of hair follicles and supports new hair formation through the sustained release of growth factors.

While PRP delivers quicker effects, iPRF tends to have a more long-lasting impact. Both methods are effective, safe, and can be combined with other aesthetic procedures to enhance results and accelerate healing.
