Profhilo Structura is an innovative injectable procedure designed to restore facial fat tissue in order to preserve a more youthful facial contour. The procedure uses one of the purest and most concentrated hyaluronic acid formulations available on the market. How Does Profhilo Structura Work?

Profhilo Structura is specifically designed to act within the subcutaneous fat tissue – a region that naturally diminishes and loses support with age. The product helps to:

• restore structural stability and volume loss in tissues;
• support natural tissue repositioning and firmness.

Injections are administered into the subcutaneous or deeper layers using a cannula or fine needle. Unlike superficial injections, Profhilo Structura targets deeper facial areas such as the cheekbones, mid-face, and jawline, where subcutaneous fat commonly recedes with age. As a result, tissue support is reinforced, sagging is reduced, and facial contours improve.

Contraindications

• Bleeding disorders and anticoagulant therapy

How to prepare for the procedure?

• Discuss suitability, expected results, and combination with other treatments with the specialist beforehand;
• Leave at least 2 weeks between this procedure and any other facial treatments or vaccinations;
• Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours prior to the procedure;
• Inform your provider about any medications you’re taking. If possible, avoid blood-thinning medications (e.g. Apirin, Hjertemagnyl), also fish oil or vitamin E supplements for 3 days before the procedure;
• Eat a light meal beforehand to reduce the risk of dizziness or fainting due to low blood sugar or stress.

What to consider after the procedure?

• Redness, minor bruising, tenderness, numbness, or swelling may occur;
• Avoid makeup for at least 12 hours post-injection;
• Do not touch the treated area for several hours to minimize infection risk;
• Avoid massages and other treatments in the injection area for at least 2 weeks;
• Refrain from alcohol for at least 24 hours after the procedure;
• Avoid intense exercise for a few days to reduce the risk of swelling or bruising;
• Avoid saunas and hot baths for at least 2 weeks;
• Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks;
• Keep a 2-week interval between this and other aesthetic procedures or vaccinations.

Difference from classic Profhilo

Both products are based on NAHYCO® technology hyaluronic acid (Profhilo contains 64 mg/2 ml, Profhilo Structura contains 80 mg/2 ml of higher viscosity hyaluronic acid), but work at different depths and for different purposes.
Profhilo improves surface hydration and smooths fine lines, while Structura targets deeper tissue structures, supporting facial shape and structural harmony.
