Surgical treatment of foreskin crack
Look for appointment timesFrenuloplasty is a surgical procedure used to treat problems with the frenulum of the foreskin (a small piece of tissue that connects the inner surface of the foreskin to the head of the penis). If the frenulum is too short or tight, it can cause discomfort and pain during sexual intercourse and may even limit the movement of the penis.
Frenuloplasty is performed under local or general anaesthesia, and during the procedure, the frenulum tissue is cut and then sewn back together longer and looser. This allows the head of the penis to move more freely and may reduce pain and discomfort during sexual intercourse.
Although frenuloplasty is generally a safe and effective procedure, there may be some complications, such as bleeding, infection or scarring.
