Look for appointment timesA gynecologist specializes in assessing women’s reproductive and hormonal health, as well as in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions affecting women of all ages.
When should you see a gynecologist?
You are welcome to book an appointment with Confido’s highly experienced gynecologists both for regular preventive check-ups and for specific concerns, such as:
- menstrual disorders
- lower abdominal pain
- irregular or painful menstruation
- changes in vaginal discharge
- suspected sexually transmitted infections
- contraceptive counselling
- pregnancy confirmation
- menopausal symptoms
- other gynecological complaints
Many gynecological conditions may develop without clear symptoms in the early stages. Regular check-ups help detect potential problems in a timely manner.
Regular check-ups
We recommend visiting a gynecologist at least once a year, even in the absence of complaints.
If risk factors or previous health concerns are present, your doctor may recommend more frequent visits.
The first visit to a gynecologist is recommended before the onset of sexual activity to receive counselling and information about contraceptive methods.
Booking an Appointment
- For a routine health check-up or a specific concern, book an appointment with a gynecologist.
- Insertion or removal of a contraceptive device (IUD or subdermal implant) is not performed during the initial appointment, during which the most suitable method for you will be selected. A separate appointment will be scheduled after the initial gynecologist visit. The device can be purchased at a pharmacy with a prescription.
- Dr. Paula Pärna also provides counselling on vaginal laser treatment options.
- Dr. Ülle Kiisla does not perform contraceptive device insertions. Patients whose main concerns include uterine prolapse and urinary incontinence are welcome to book an appointment with her.
