Dr Lea Lang

Dr Lea Lang

Gynaecologist

Dr Lea Lang graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tartu in 2011 and acquired a qualification in obstetrical care and gynaecology in 2015. Dr Lang has been working in East Tallinn Central Hospital Women’s Clinic since her residency. The fast pace of work at the central hospital and the high level of on-call work have enriched her experience with a wide range of professional aspects.

Listen and explain and do so with a friendly smile – that's my motto. Health-related ailments are often frightening for people, and for women, such concerns can also be sensitive and intimate in nature. This is why I believe establishing a trust-based communication between the physician and the patient is a huge step closer to finding a solution. I always try to keep in mind that what I see as a “regular concern” is something big and special for the patient, and it is this same empathy and energy that I bring to solving the concern. Women are brave and capable, and I can support them with a trusting, modern and progressive attitude and treatment methods.
