I completed a residency in obstetric care and gynaecology in East Tallinn Central Hospital and have been working as a gynaecologist since 2009. At the moment, I am mostly involved in operative gynaecology, and in particular endoscopic gynaecological surgery. I have completed a special IOTA course and in 2020 I received a certificate to carry out IOTA research (IOTA is an international research group of more than 40 cancer centres around the world aiming to develop new algorithms for the detection of ovarian cancer). I constantly improve my knowledge and skills by attending professional conferences and practical training in laparoscopic surgery.

I'm an open-minded and progressive gynaecologist and prioritise the patient's health and wellbeing above all. Gynaecology is a constantly developing and changing field that offers many surgical operations (open surgery, endoscopy, laparoscopy) as well as therapeutic treatment options (medication). That's why I chose this speciality. I believe gynaecologists are the gatekeepers of women’s health.
