Breast reduction surgery, also known as mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure aimed at reducing excessively large and heavy breasts and improving their shape and proportion with the body.

After the surgery, the patient is required to wear a specialized supportive bra to provide support to the breasts and aid in healing. The recovery period can vary, but typically the patient needs to avoid physical exertion and heavy lifting for several weeks. The final result becomes evident over several months as the healing progresses.
