SARS coronavirus antigen test
Look for appointment timesThe SARS coronavirus antigen test detects the presence of proteins specific to the coronavirus in a sample. A positive result indicates that you are infected with the coronavirus. The test is most sensitive during the period when the amount of virus in the body is at its highest – typically from a few days before until about five days after the onset of symptoms.
Who is this service intended for?
- People with symptoms suggestive of COVID-19 (e.g., fever, cough, breathing difficulties, loss of taste or smell).
- Individuals who have been in close contact with a COVID-19 positive person.
- Travelers who require an antigen test certificate for travel.
- For preventive screening purposes, when there is a need to rule out infection.
How is the sample collected?
The sample is collected from the nasopharynx using a swab.
Results
The result will be available within 30 minutes after testing. For those who order a certificate, the result will be sent as a link by email.
