Functional Pilates
This service is intended for Health Insurance Fund patients and requires a prior appointment with a physiotherapist.
Pilates is a calm but effective exercise that focuses on proper breathing, precision of movement, and conscious performance. The exercises activate the entire body, paying special attention to the deep muscles and the balanced work of the core muscles. The training strengthens and shapes muscles, improves flexibility and increases endurance, while providing the body with support and stability for everyday activities.
A variety of tools are used in pilates to deepen body awareness and support exercise performance.
The purpose of the training is to:
- develop physical fitness (strength, flexibility, coordination, speed, endurance and agility);
- develop physical self-awareness;
- activate the muscles properly;
- correct posture and body alignment;
- stimulate the optimal functioning of the internal organs;
- improve balance.
