Traditional massage
Look for appointment timesClassical massage is the most common type of massage, which has a relaxing effect on the muscles, a balancing effect on the psyche, and stimulates the lymphatic and circulatory systems as well as the immune system, thereby increasing the body’s resistance to illnesses. Massage supports all bodily functions and is well suited for preventing age-related changes and signs of aging, as well as for improving overall well-being.
When do we recommend classical massage?
- restlessness, anxiety disorders, mood swings
- stress, depression
- muscle tension, headaches
- post-operative or post-traumatic recovery
- breathing difficulties
- abdominal and digestive problems
- insomnia
Contraindications
- Pregnancy (especially during the first trimester or in case of complications)
- Cardiovascular diseases (e.g., acute heart attack)
- Thrombosis and serious platelet disorders
- Acute kidney or liver failure
- Fever and inflammatory conditions
- Malignant tumors
- Acute skin diseases and ulcers
- Intoxication
Classical massage is usually painless and is performed on a massage table, using oil, cream, or sometimes without any aids. After the session, temporary reactions may occur, such as drowsiness, dizziness, sweating, hot or cold flashes, and emotional sensitivity. To support recovery, it is recommended to drink plenty of water to promote the elimination of toxins.
