Dr Kristel Krunks is a gynaecologist with extensive experience. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu in 2002 and qualified as a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2008. Since completing her residency, Dr Krunks has worked as a practising gynaecologist at East Tallinn Central Hospital.
She began her career by counselling young people at a youth counselling centre, while also seeing gynaecology patients and working on call. In recent years, her main focus and particular area of interest have been pregnancy care and obstetrics.
Dr Krunks is a member of the Estonian Gynaecologists’ Society and the Estonian Medical Association. As she considers both continuous professional development and sharing knowledge important, she has also been involved in providing internal training for her colleagues since 2016.
Patients and colleagues appreciate Dr Krunks for her warm approach, empathy, and ability to remain calm and clear-minded even in the most critical situations.
She welcomes patients with a variety of gynaecological concerns, as well as women planning a pregnancy and expectant mothers.
