24.12.2016

If you live in Estonia or are a visitor here for only a short while and you have a health concern or would like to check on your health, come to Confido Private Medical Centre – we are a trustworthy partner concerning your well-being. Over 40% of our patients booking appointments with our General Practitioners are foreigners.

We welcome everyone to our clinic – Estonians with health insurance, private health insurance and foreign nationals without health insurance.

Confido Private Medical Clinic was established in 2013 by a group of doctors and our doctors are some of the best General Practitioners, specialists and therapists within Estonia as well as other parts of the world, who provide readily available and good quality services as a team. In addition to treatment, at Confido we pay special attention to how to be healthy, how to maintain your health and how to improve your quality of life.

A doctor’s help for both the insured and the uninsured

We welcome everyone to our clinic – Estonians with health insurance, private health insurance and foreign nationals without health insurance (both children and adults), who appreciate good quality service and the convenience of our location in the centre of Tallinn.

Also of great importance – all of our staff, doctors, nurses, and therapists, speak several different languages (English, Finnish, Russian, Swedish, German and Spanish) and are able to help foreign clients in their mother tongue. It’s of great importance when communicating about health concerns.

General Practitioners will help with health concerns

If you have health concerns, you will first be seen by our General Practitioners. If you would like to have a general check-up or need advice on how to maintain your health, our General Practitioners would be the first ones to turn to. Renewing prescriptions while staying in Estonia

If you have been to see us before and the doctor has already met with you, if your prescription needs renewing or you need advice, you do not need to come in for an appointment – we can provide you with a telephone consultation as well. You can tell the assistant about needing a prescription extended.

While in Estonia or at home, you are able to renew a prescription electronically if necessary.

While in Estonia or at home, you are able to renew a prescription electronically if necessary - we have electronic prescriptions. If you have a residence card or are an e-resident, you can simply access what you need electronically.

A residency card is a compulsory document for identifying oneself while in Estonia for those staying here with a residence permit or a right of residence. You can read about a residency card here »

We always recommend that our clients draw themselves up as e-residents. An e-resident is a foreigner who Estonia has granted a national identity by providing a digital identity card – which contains an e-resident digital ID. You can read about e-residency here »

We will help you find a Family Doctor for you and your family

If you have private health insurance, inform us as soon as possible. This way we can send you the proper documentation and receipts, which are necessary for your insurance company and helps to ensure you receive payment from them.

If you are coming to live in Estonia and need to find a permanent General Practitioner, we can recommend our partners who are involved with the Estonian National System of Family Physicians and who provide services through the health insurance system.

We also work with many employers in Estonia and if your employer is not yet affiliated with our centre, our staff can recommend how to facilitate cooperation between your employer and Confido.

Booking a consultation time and payment

Booking an appointment helps to save time and our services are faster and more comfortable thanks to this. For consultations, examinations, vaccinations or for the issuing of certificates, you can book a time through our website, or call 6299 277 or send an email to info@confido.ee.

If it becomes clear during an appointment that an examination or analysis is necessary, an appropriate time will be agreed upon on the spot in the clinic. A blood analysis sample can be given through a live queue, weekdays from 9:00 – 10:00 AM Mondays, and 8:00 – 10:00 AM Tuesdays through Friday.

You will be charged for all of our services. After you have booked an appointment, you will be sent an e-mail with a prepayment notice for payment of services that will be done during your appointment. Your appointment will be upheld after payment has been received. The prepayment fee includes examination time with a Confido doctor or specialist. Prepayment does not include a fee for analysis or further examinations, which will be found out during your appointment.

If you need to change your appointment or cancel, you must contact us as soon as possible, but no later than 24 hours before the appointment. Then we can either reschedule the appointment date, or return the advance payment.

If the reception is not notified of a missed appointment or the cancellation occurs in less than 24 hours before the appointment, the prepayment will be accounted for service expenses and will not be returned. The sooner a new appointment time is rescheduled, it is more likely that the doctors or specialists will be able to see another patient during the initial booked appointment.
