Dr Sergei Gordienko-Tarvis is an anaesthesiologist and pain management specialist with a long-standing interest in pain management and the development of this field. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu in 2019 and completed his residency in anaesthesiology and intensive care in 2024.
His interest in pain management began early in his residency, and since 2022, Dr Gordienko-Tarvis has been regularly seeing patients for pain management consultations. Within pain management, she is particularly interested in minimally invasive treatments: Dr Gordienko-Tarvis performs various pain management procedures using ultrasound and X-ray, prioritising the selection of the most suitable treatment method for each patient.
Dr Gordienko-Tarvis actively follows the latest developments in the field of pain management and regularly updates her knowledge at training courses and conferences across Europe, so that she can apply modern treatment options in her day-to-day clinical work. In her work, she places great importance on continuous professional development, the application of modern treatment methods and a patient-centred approach.
