Martin Kivivare

Dr Martin Kivivare has graduated from the University of Tartu, Faculty of Medicine (2009) and residency in psychiatry (2013). Dr. Kivivare has a deeper interest in the treatment of different mood disorders, for example depression (incl. more difficult, so called treatment resistant cases), bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, panic disorders, personality disorders and also psychotic disorders, for example schizophrenia. Dr. Kivivare considers professional development important and annually attends larger international congresses in Europe, as well as in America. Dr Kivivare also has a background in various psychotherapies and has undergone initial training in cognitive-behavioural, as well as, family therapy. Dr. Kivivare, as a psychiatrist, sees mental health as a concept that is one of the most important resources of a person that is a necessity for living a fulfilling life.
