Dr. Teele Meren is a pediatric neurologist who completed her residency training at the University of Tartu in 2023. She began her studies in pediatrics in 2016, first completing residency in general pediatrics and later specializing in pediatric neurology. To gain a broad understanding of the possibilities for helping children in Estonia, Dr. Meren carried out her residency across seven different hospitals nationwide.
She has also enhanced her expertise internationally in the field of pediatric neurology through additional training in Amsterdam, Munich, and Toronto. For her dedicated work in developing a multidisciplinary team for the treatment of children with spastic paresis, she was nominated as Tallinn Children’s Hospital’s Young Doctor of the Year 2021.
After gaining experience in multiple centers, Dr. Meren has developed a strong interest in a team-based approach to pediatric neurology, where medical professionals, educators, and family members all play an essential role in supporting the child’s health and development.
