Liis Grete Atonen graduated from the University of Tartu with a master’s degree in physiotherapy in 2025 and has work experience in both clinical settings and sports physiotherapy. Her previous work at the University of Tartu Hospital’s Orthopedic Clinic has given her a strong foundation in the field of the musculoskeletal system and post-traumatic rehabilitation. Her personal experience with top-level sports helps her understand the concerns of both athletes and amateurs regarding overuse, injuries, and movement-related problems. She has worked with several athletes and served as a physiotherapist at various sporting events. She currently works in the cardiology department of the University of Tartu Heart Clinic. Liis Grete views the human body as a whole and values the quality and sustainability of movement. In her work, she approaches problems individually and scientifically.
