Dr Marge Lenk is a general paediatrician with extensive work experience. She graduated from the University of Tartu in 1986 with a degree in paediatrics and, after completing her internship, worked for many years as a paediatrician in the maternity and paediatric department of Rapla Hospital. Since 2012, she has been associated with Tallinn Children’s Hospital — first as a paediatrician on call, then in the neonatal and infant department, and for the last seven years in the haematology and oncology department. Dr Lenk is a member of the Estonian Paediatric Society, has participated in various domestic and international training courses and conferences, and has also taught nurses and pharmacists at Tallinn Health Care College for many years. As a doctor, she is guided by the principle that there are no more sincere and honest people than children. When a child is struck by illness — whether it is a headache, stomach-ache, or earache — it affects the whole body. In such cases, good cooperation between the child, parents, and doctor is essential for recovery.
