Emergency Family Medical Center

From October 2025, both adults and children can visit the on-call GP (family physician) at the Confido Health Center )Veerenni 53a, 4th floor) for problems in the blue or green triage category, i.e. minor health problems that do not require emergency care.

During the appointment, the on-call GP can perform necessary tests and examinations to get a more accurate overview of the patient’s condition. The doctor will carry out procedures to conduct an initial assessment and provide guidance for starting treatment. Prescriptions can also be issued, if necessary, but certain restrictions apply.

The on-call service does not cover:

Treatment of trauma-related injuries requiring orthopedic care, including fracture diagnosis, casting, removal of casts, etc.;

Monitoring of chronic illnesses or preventive care;

Issuing referral letters;

Prescribing addictive medications (e.g., sleeping pills, sedatives, benzodiazepines).

For minor health issues, you should primarily contact your own GP. The on-call GP service is intended for unexpected situations when it is not possible to wait for your GP’s appointment.
More detailed guidance on which issues require contacting a GP versus seeking urgent care is available on the Health Board’s website.
