Katrin Torkel’s career in healthcare began with studies in emergency medical care. After completing her nursing degree, she worked in an inpatient internal medicine department, where she gained broad experience in caring for patients with a variety of health concerns. Today, Katrin works in occupational health, where she can combine her previous clinical experience with preventive healthcare and patient counselling.
In her work, Katrin considers good rapport and trust-based communication essential. She values the ability to listen and notice individual needs and takes a personalised approach to each person.
