Dr. Laane completed her residency in cardiology in 2007. She is a member of the Estonian Society of Cardiology and the European Society of Cardiology.
Dr. Laane has worked at the Heart Clinic of Tartu University Hospital, caring for patients requiring cardiac intensive care as well as patients in the Department of Cardiology. As a senior consultant and lecturer, she supervises medical students and cardiology residents. In addition to her daily clinical practice, Dr. Laane participates in international clinical research, contributing to the development of new treatment methods and the implementation of modern therapeutic approaches.
Dr. Laane believes that informed health choices, a healthy lifestyle, and consistent preventive care are key to reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease and improving quality of life. She tailors treatment to each patient’s individual needs, goals, and expectations and believes that the best outcomes are achieved through close collaboration between physician and patient. She therefore encourages her patients to take an active role in maintaining their health.
