Triin has worked as a diabetes nurse for four years, supporting patients with different types of diabetes throughout their daily treatment journey. In her work, she values trust-based collaboration, attentive listening, and individualised counselling to help patients better understand their condition and feel more confident in managing their diabetes.
She has experience in initiating and monitoring insulin pump therapy as well as in the use of various glucose monitoring sensors. Triin assists patients in interpreting sensor data and supports treatment plan adjustments in collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team.
To maintain and develop her professional expertise, Triin actively participates in specialist training and also works as a lecturer in the field of diabetes nursing. She continuously updates her knowledge through evidence-based professional literature.
