I assess the person’s strengths and difficulties in line with the environment in order to find opportunities to participate in valuable and necessary activities and life roles. I like the people-centricity, thoroughness, practicality and creativity of occupational therapy. It allows you to set meaningful goals, create a bigger picture of the person and apply a variety of strategies and methods. Through therapy, it is possible to improve self-efficacy and daily coping. In addition, occupational therapy is exciting because it can be applied throughout the stages of life and is a constantly evolving profession. I am an enthusiast regarding occupational therapy because I believe in its ability to contribute to a better quality of life.
