Dr Karmen Vilde graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tartu with a degree in medicine in 1990 and an internship in internal medicine in 1991. Since that time, she has worked as a doctor of internal medicine both in the department of internal medicine and as a consultant in the department of intensive care. In addition to working in Estonia, Dr Vilde has long-term work experience in Finland. She has been a member of the Estonian Society of Cardiologists and is a member of the Estonian Medical Association.
